As Award-winning pianist Muzi Li has been praised internationally for her “precision, crystalline sharpness and great inner energy” (Social Bracigliano) as well as her “elegant, variable touch” (Murrhardter Zeitung)
Muzi has won top prizes at many International competitions - most recently winning the First Prize at the Salzburg Grand Prize International Music Competition (Austria), the First Prize & the Expressive Performance Special Prize at the UK International Music Competition(United Kingdom), and First Prize at the 2023 Obertello International Piano Competition (Italy).
In 2023, Muzi also received the First Prize and the Audience Prize at the 5th Mimas Music Festival International Piano Competition, and a special scholarship award, sponsored by Krause Musical Instrument Co., Ltd.
She was Gold Medalist at the 5th Francesco Cardaropoli International Competition in Salerno(Italy), as well as the first Prize winner at the Talent Music Festival - Solo Concerto Competition in Brescia. In the same year she was also awarded First Prize at the prestigious 14th Giovani Musicisti international competition in Venice.
At the age of 13, she has invited to give performances at the CCOM Concert Hall in Beijing, one of the most prestigious concert hall in China.
This past season, Muzi performed extensively in Europe. She has given performances at such prominent venues as the Solitär Konzertsaal at Mozarteum University (Salzburg, Austria), Palazzo De Simone (Bracigliano, Italy), Oratorio ANSPI Aurora (Treviso, Italy), Teatro San Giovanni (Brescia, Italy), Teatro Sociale di Stradella (Stradella, Italy) Santa Margherita Nuova (Naples, Italy), Joseph-Joachim Saal (Berlin, Germany), Festhalle Murrhardt (Murrhardt, Germany), Manuel de Falla Auditorium (Madrid, Spain) Palau de la Musica Catalana (Barcelona, Spain) Conservatorio Superior de Musica (Murcia, Spain), Auditório Municipal Casa da Música (Óbidos , Portugal), and the Monastère de Cimiez (Nice, France). She is also a scholarship holder of the Liechtenstein Musikakademie (International Music Academy in Liechtenstein).
She has also performed in masterclasses of such distinguished teachers and performers as Alfred Brendel, Pavel Gililov, Michel Béroff, Arie Vardi, Jacques Rouvier, Boris Berman, James Giles, Ian Jones, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, and Robert Levin.
Muzi was recently accepted into the highly selective and prestigious Konzertexamen program at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart(University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart), and joined the studio of Florian Wiek. She completed her Master studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin (Berlin University of Arts) studying with Markus Groh, and previously studied at the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” Berlin with Susanne Grützmann.
